Thank you, Skateboarding

Skateboarding is tangibly magical. 

From the start, it’s a you versus you pursuit. You choose to start, you choose to learn, you choose to trudge, you fall, you get up, you keep going. Eventually, you learn some things. 

You start to see what’s possible. You’re in awe of what others have done, and you’re motivated to keep nudging your best towards better. Over and over. This never stops.

Incrementally, you eek towards a goal that never finishes. Yet, that’s the point of skateboarding. Little by little, better and better, this pursuit exists as a canvas for evolving. 

Doing what you thought couldn’t be done; connecting with folks on the same path; becoming who you thought you couldn’t be.
