Happy New Year [2022]!

With 2021 in our rearview, we believe in the importance of taking some time to pause, reflect, and charge ahead!

After the curveball that 2020 proved to be we entered 2021 on our toes, swinging for the fences and ready to adapt to it all!

This approach spawned all sorts of new exciting opportunities and an unshakable resilience that came in especially handy on more than one occasion.

2021 promoted new leaders within our team who stepped up, thrived, and persevered under insane amounts of pressure (i.e. a 17 MILLION GALLON sewage spill that closed down swimming at local beaches, ever-changing health guidelines, a surprise COVID audit from the L.A. County Department of Public Health [which we passed with flying colors btw], a population of kids trying to learn/ re-learn how to interact with one another, etc., etc.). We wouldn’t exist without their effort— THANK YOU!

Such leadership wouldn’t have mattered one bit without the cast of coaches who enthusiastically showed up every day to handle whatever was thrown their way with a smile. Words of praise fall short of doing justice to all that goes in to successfully putting on consistently exceptional kids programs like they did, but THANK YOU nonetheless!

In the opportunity department, we grew our footprint to new cities like Anaheim and Malibu, strengthened the relationship with our long-standing partner El Segundo, tripled our family of “Pods” programs, brought to life our very own line of Champ Camp skateboards and fingerboards, expanded and improved our online training platform, and saw the most sold out sessions in history.

Outdoing the max effort that was 2021 is a tall order, but we’re here for it and stand ready for the challenge in full confidence. Most of all, we’re grateful for the opportunity to continue spreading the stoke to each and every one of our Champ Camp families.
