You could say that I’m not the world’s biggest football fan, as I found out which two teams are in the Super Bowl last night (Saturday). But, pretty soon I’ll be heading to a Super Bowl party with my family, and I’m quite pumped about it! But, why?
Nested within most occasions that, at first glance don’t excite us very much, are opportunities to spend time with people we love and share joy in the present moment. These gems are all around us, hiding in plain sight, if only we choose to see them. So, as we admire the discipline and greatness displayed by the athletes in competition today, let’s also be sure to take pause and soak in the company of those we’re gathered with .
